That is a fantastic looking pen! I like the way the colors blend and I know it is comfortable in the hand. How does it write? I am sure it is as smooth as writing on oiled glass, like mine is.

It really looks fantastic! I'm happy I ordered this colour. It writes smooth but not as smooth as my Leonardo MZ.

How does it feel in the hand? For me, it isn't too small and though larger than most, the grip isn't too large.

It feels really good. I like big pens like the KOP and M1000. The Spaccanapoli is very comfortable, the section is great and I do not feel like squeezing it like thinner pens and it is not slippery also. The thread is not sharp and if you want to hold your pen farther from the nib, this also works. The weight is nicely balanced. I really like it.

Those are my thoughts, too. My nib is very smooth, too. It isn't as smooth as my E95s but it is up there. The section is large enough that I don't have to force my grip, but not so big as it seems I am holding a long. Between those two things, and the balance that you mentioned, this is a wonderful pen to write it. Now, if they would come out with a Jowo 1.1 stub I could be ecstatic.
