Looking for a rollerball pen that uses the Pentel EnerGel LR7 refill

I bought a number of LR7 refills in brown as a part of my make-the-striated-brown-Pelikan-R400-write-the-color-that-nature-intended project.

Not a glorious triumph.

So I'm stuck with a bunch of refills that only match an old Pilot G2 body I had lying around. I've gone to the JetPens "compatible with" button on this refill but don't like any of the choices.

Is there a better pens-that-use-this-refill site?

Thanks

one option is to modify (hacks) the LR7 refill to fit the pen (without modifying the pen).

Here's my example of modifying a japanese gel refill, such as pilot G2 or pental LR7, to fit in my Retro51 rollerball pen, which originally takes Schmidt P8127 refill, which I suspect is the same euro style rollerball refill that a Pelikan R400 takes?

I think these are similar to waterman refills, which I initially used in the Rotring 400 and Waterford Silver and platinum RBs.  Think the G2 and the Energels were a better choice and great in these, and also in a Recife that’s long gone.

I may be wrong though, this was a decade ago.

Very much enjoy the Energel refills, the purple 0.7 is the latest craze.

Found an old Waterman (black/silver trim Charleston??) rollerball husk in the home pile last week, chopped off enough off the top of the refill to make it perfect.

No clicker or spring in the pen, just cram the refill to protrude the right length.

Probably not in the price range of the Pelikan R400. The Pentel Energel Roller Sterling BL407 or the Pentel BL2007 Energel Metal Slim could be a good (but much more affordable) alternatives.

Spending that much to work with a "cheap" but excellent refill is a room I have not entered... to date...
