I see @two2tone that you linked to the 10x13 journal, but the picture with the 22x14 journal is truly astounding.  I think that I would find journaling in a 2' tall book quite intimidating, but it is definitely a statement piece!

@TrueBlue719, what size did you get? I've just started looking at those...not so much for my Journaling, but for organization, notes. Calendar, etc...

For past 10+ years I have used my phone. Wondering if a change would be good for me...

I have both sizes, and find the standard size, or larger one, better as the size of the inserts gives more room to write. The calendar Weekly plus Memo is a good size for planning or writing about your day. Granted, I haven’t given the passport size much of a chance. It is truly passport size.

It will be interesting to see what @TrueBlue719 uses.

I got the standard sized book. I thought the passport sized book would be too small, particularly the planner inserts, for my scheduling. Plus if I write too small I would't be able to read it later (I'm not known at all for my handwriting), and the standard sized book is harder to lose.  I also debossed my initials into the cover to personalize it a bit.

My daily diary is a Moleskine 2023-2024 13x21cm, day to a page. Takes fountain and dip pens ink well, at least with the inks I am using.

Also have a Moleskine ruled notebook of the same size for general notes on my activities.

Both are a easy size for putting into a rucksack or travel bag.

I use 80 sheet junior composition books (5" x 7" college ruled) with vinyl covers; Walmart's "Pen & Ink" brand are made in India -- at least, my ten or so are.  They fit nicely into the cargo pockets that adorn my scrub pants and the cargo shorts that I like in the summer.  What I like is the portability -- if I have to carry it in my hand or in a bag, I probably won't.  I reinforce the black tape over the stitching with 2" paper bandage/ surgical tape, e.g. 3M Micropore, as otherwise it'll get rubbed off, going into and out of pockets regularly.  And during Back to School, they go 2/$1.

The paper is obnoxiously thin, but resistant to feathering and strike-through, and micro-perforated for easy neat sheet removal.  The only feathering I've seen has been with Noodler's Purple.  And as long as I'm not holding it up to the light, I have no trouble ignoring the show-through.

If I were in Europe, I'd likely be carrying B6, which are only very slightly smaller (4.9" 6.9").
