Hongdian M2-Black Forest Mini- Will Kaweco be naughty or nice?

Hongdian has taken the liberty to throw so coal in the folks over at Kaweco's stocking by releasing the M2 this holiday season. Somewhere between Delike and Moonman/Majohn (HERO....), there is a joke in there somewhere. In between admiring Hongdian's take on the SPORT, I wonder if Kaweco will attempt to trademark Hongdian and unleash another series of name changes that will start another round of free smoke Xerox inspired creativity out East. The last time this happened, the other manufactures caught the strays with Majohn reproducing the catalogue from Pilot to Lamy and various Italian manufacturers in between. The middle finger that was the Majohn RS1 notwithstanding, whether you view it as right or wrong, the question is will Kaweco keep that energy for Hongdian and hit the EU trademark trail. Food for thought; Pilot gets $70 each time someone needs some nib variety for the various Majohn A series models. All the while, HERO is somewhere in between all this with pulling the strings. 

 

Also, not the same pen. No facets but as the RS1 showed, a little litigation can change a lot.

I never got the appeal of the Sport, maybe because I prefer the Japanese version of the pocket pen. And this M2 seems like another take on a classic pen type, rather than a copy per se. I like the colors and flowing shape.
