Metal pens are not my "jam" unless they are in sterling silver but the last one with flowers, oh my, right up my alley. I am a man and I like pink and other cute pens, and I don't know why others avoid them and prefer somber pens, because it's like I prefer women to be, sweet and delicate.🥰

The other colorway on the C3 for now. Happy hunting.

Taobao Prices: (Remember the independent distributors from the traditional retail sites will add taxes, shipping, etc so I would expect to add $10 minimum if you're purchasing through Aliexpress,  Ebay, Amazon,  etc.

C3- $8

M1-11

N11-20

I am a little stereotypical about colors and patterns, which I prefer darker and always simple, in spite of the fact that I’m a gay guy and supposedly more open to color etc!

There is a second version of the C3 as shown in my photo and it’s equally good looking and I could see myself with this pen—but probably won’t 😂

Seriously, with so many Chinese pens coming out with integral fillers, a c/c filler has to stand out to make me want it.

The colors do not bother me either. I feel they I am a product of the last three years and more anxious to see these manufacturers keep trying new things but I recognize there must be balance.  Profit and him market first naturally.  The N11 takes me back 4-5 years ago when PenBBS dropped the 380. The excitement then versus the blah now. Progress or just just a change in expectations or a combination both.

Coming late to the newest generation of Chinese pens, I never was able to get my preferred color combo of the 380 but I was a little obsessed with it for a while and the N11 twist certainly reminded me of it. The diamond is neat too. I have become a little more daring buying Chinese pens but not a lot—I do have an interesting bright yellow pen on the way!

In a month or so, Hondian has put out six significant models. Has the domestic fan talk been blah?

I’ve gotten a little carried away in the current AliExpress sale, but I haven’t bought any of the six and I am waiting to see them in other hands. And for the initial prices to go down, especially after paying the premium for the A3.
