Oh her majesty has no right to be on any counter.

:) I just meant any raised table, shelf, nightstand, etc.  The kitchen counter is the only one he's not allowed on.  So far, he still can't jump from the floor up onto the counter (though it's close).  He's tried twice to jump from a table I only use for storage and project onto the kitchen counter.  The second time he ended up with sticky stuff stuck to his feet and it scared the living daylights out of him, so he hasn't tried that leap since.  We'll see what happens when he can jump up on top of the partial wall (I think it's about 8' tall) between the livingroom and kitchen (there's a vaulted ceiling and the wall doesn't go all the way up.  His kitty tower gets him up about 6 feet, but so far he hasn't dared make the jump to the top of the wall.  Once there, he can go from the wall, to the top of the kitchen cupboards to the fridge to the counter...  I suspect I won't easily train him not to travel that route....

:lticaptd:He just now discovered the magnifying glass in my lamp and is moving his paw around under it while looking through the glass. He seems quite puzzled.

Just give him time, you'll be surprised :D

That's good!

You can always put some sticky tape! That should deter him, if he inclines going the wrong way 😛

WHat's the big black cat, looking at me 😊 Thanks, some moments of innocence in a world gone nuts! 🙏

Of course Kitteh is peeved!  He's half wet and we all know how much cats like that.  The artwork always makes me smile.

The photo is gorgeous.  Now I want pomegranates.  And the chroma has a little intrigue to it.  So I don't dislike it as much as some others.

@yazeh, thanks once again for these ink-splorations, especially the swabs.  I have a sample of Oscar Copper so that's useful.

My latest ebook.   And not just for Halloween!

My other pen is a Montblanc.

:) Exactly.  So fun seeing the world through kitten eyes.

I blind bought a full 30ml bottle of it (still in the mail, I wonder if they lost it...) and honestly your review just reassured me that I might really enjoy this ink. I planned to use it in M nibs, might not even try in flex then... I was tempted by the dark red colour that reminds me of pomegranate juice. I love garnets, I worked with them a lot when was into jewellery making, and I would say this one is more pomegranate than garnet, indeed :) I will try to make my own review and will add garnets to the photos for the sake of comparison when it finally arrives.

I'm really looking forward to see your review then. You never know by the time you do your review,m aube it's the pomegranate season, so you can have both. :)

Actually 'tis the first Herbin ink I can enjoy! Even tho I used it only with one of the wettest pens I own (Caran d'Ache 849 <F>) so far and it gives the pen somewhat a pencil-like feedback, I still enjoy it quite a lot. The huge advantage of it is that it works on any paper without feathering and bleeding.

Oh to have that translucent pink Prera! @migo984 has the Oeste series named after birds. There is a pink one, so I’m assuming Este is the same pen as Oeste.    Excellent haul. I have some Uniball One P pens. Do you like to use them? I like them enough, but don’t use them too much yet.    Do you or your wife use Travelers Notebooks? Seeing you were at Kyoto, I thought of them as there is a store there.

It's not nearly so thick that I feel it comprises my fine-grained control, the way I feel about the Cross Peerless 125 or some of the high-end TACCIA Urushi pens with cigar-shaped bodies and 18K gold nibs. Why would you expect me or anyone else to make explicit mention of it, if it isn't a travesty or such a disappointment that an owner of the pen would want to bring it to the attention of his/her peers so that they could “learn from his/her mistake” without paying the price?

Why nobody says that the section of Tuzu besides triangular shape is quite thick. Honestly it’s the thickest one among my many pens, other thick I own is Noodler’s Ahab. Because of that fat section I feel more control and my handwriting has improved. I can’t say it’s comfortable or uncomfortable, but needs a moment to accommodate. It’s funny because my school years are long over. Besides this pen had horrible F nib. Tines were perfectly aligned but it was so scratchy on left stroke that collecte

Awesome! I'm in the process of preparing my bag for our pen meet this weekend and I literally have none of the items you mention!! I'll see if I can find one or two!

@asota -- Yeah, I think I have a few rolls in my fridge that are probably 20-30 years old at this point (don't remember now if they are B&W or color film) and don't even really know where to get the film processed, once the drive through kiosks went away....  I just did a quick Google search and (in theory) there was a place the next town over from me -- but got a 404 error message when I tried to click on the link....  Ruth Morrisson aka inkstainedruth
