What makes it "safety pen ink"?

Those are two wonderful pens. You are certainly a man of fine judgement.

You can thank my wife for the MB Safety pen.

 

There was a street flea market and my wife set some guy straight to what he had that was worthy. And he had no inkwells, and the pen he had didn't work. He couldn't get the nib out. So my wife told him I'd use it for spare parts. 

Having had the first one repaired, a whole new spindle manufactured, because the previous repair man tried to super glue it together which don't work.

I knew about twisting the piston cap.

This is what Francis got to work on....and he did so much better than I expected....I'd been satisfied with a not-MB color  sliced dome....like the old red ones, but he rebuilt the cap and made the snowflake. 4i318Pa.jpgXb1HjNs.jpg

Often with many of my pens it seems to have a bit of luck attached to me having them.

The Reality Show is a riveting result of 23% being illiterate, and 60% reading at a 6th grade or lower level.
