Beloved Mercurius Greenfield Fountain Pen

Hello,

 

I have come to this network in hopes that someone can help me. My fountain pen that I received while in Waldorf elementary school has broken. The sentimental value is much higher than the monetary value of this pen- I am fully aware that this pen is not a high quality fountain pen. I am going to grad school and thought it would be fitting to have it come along with me in this next educational chapter of my life. 
 

I have contacted the company (Greenfield) as well as gotten in touch with my old school. This pen was made with a manufacturer that they no longer work with and they have changed the style of the pen so the new parts will not work with the old parts, nor do they have any old pens or spare parts laying around. 
 

It feels as though I’m looking for a needle in a haystack and I doubt that it can be repaired as the plastic part the screws into the body of the pen is broken and I can imagine a way to fix that, I would need a new part. 
 

If anyone can help or has any ideas, it would truly be much appreciated.
