Mills forms, but Champion progression?

I assume that the answer is yes, but I wanted to ask for confirmation. Can I go through Mary Champion's Business Writing Book using the order that she introduces letters, but be using the letter forms (and prerequisite exercises) from Edward C. Mills' Business Handwriting book?

I find her approach to learning be more systematic, but I am enamoured by his letters.

As as aside, it seems that Mills is missing a few letters in his book like A, N, e, n, and u. The latter four, he just shows incidentally as he goes along. He covers the lowercase a, but just glasses over the uppercase A. A just suddenly pops up when gets to the later pages.

The great thing about these business writing books is that they are all largely "compatible" with one another, so, I say, go wild!
