I really like it.

@Charles Rice, I am thinking of you.

:lticaptd:

I'm actually a bit tempted, but I tend to not like translucent pens at this point.  This is one, like the pastel blue marble one they came out with a few months ago, that I'd have to see in person to see if I like it enough to want to spend that kind of money.

Especially with the jump in LE price from €120/130 to €160.

Gee, starting to wonder if Pelikan's parent company is the same as that of a certain food company here in the US I've been trying to get ingredient information from since Monday afternoon.  And -- as I've told several people on chat windows and on the (new) phone call that *I* initiated less than an hour ago -- it's now "half-past THURSDAY AFTERNOON" (bonus points to anyone geeky enough to catch that reference, BTW B)).

On the com there was talk of new owners....almost bankruptcy, lack the right supplies,  ie their plastic.

The price of new LE 200's is a gouge...

I never could afford out side my Galeria Kaufhause 600, afford a six hundred, or eve the used ones I wanted...that never dropped in price; just the opposite. Le Grande Place...and gee other some real pretty ones.

If I didn't collect ink wells:headsmack:...the above wouldn't be a problem with the 600's.

Got a notice that my pen is shipping at last. If Pelikan has solved the manufacturing problem, then, of course, the wait will have been worth it. I resisted the siren calls of Fountain Pen Day--my pen budget is empty--so I am really looking forward to this little number!

I look forward to seeing you use it.

Here's my new M205 Rose Quartz. I filled her up now with the Rose Quartz ink.

There's a little voice in my head that says "yes, but you could have got a Chinese pink pen for twenty bucks." But occasionally I give in to that voice, and order a cheap Chinese pen, and somehow I am always disappointed.

Too many pens, too little time!

My poor pen has gotten trapped in some sort of UPS time-loop, and has been bouncing around the same four towns in Germany since November 5th. Very frustrating! If it ever comes to me I hope it hasn't been battered to pieces. 😒

I had something similar with a pen I was returning on eBay a few years ago -- it bounced back and forth between several different STATES because there was an issue with the bar codes on the labels.  Even contacting a postal inspector on the phone didn't help because she couldn't manage to get the one distribution center to snag it.  Eventually I got a notification that it had been delivered....  Yeah.  Back to ME. :wallbash:  Ended up wrapping the box in brown paper and writing the address for where it was SUPPOSED to go on the top of the brown paper with a Sharpie....

I had something take 10 days to from Las Vegas, to Kansas City, to Florida, back to Kansas City, somewhere else before finally arriving at a plane in Lexington....once it got to Europe it got here in only three days.

Back in the day before UPS/FedEx the US mail was efficient....as unbelievable as it seams, back when postal workers could read.

Lovely nib and grind Tom, is it a vintage nib?  I have a FS Italic Fine grind coming on mine but it has yet to negotiate UK customs :-(

Oh to have that translucent pink Prera! @migo984 has the Oeste series named after birds. There is a pink one, so I’m assuming Este is the same pen as Oeste.    Excellent haul. I have some Uniball One P pens. Do you like to use them? I like them enough, but don’t use them too much yet.    Do you or your wife use Travelers Notebooks? Seeing you were at Kyoto, I thought of them as there is a store there.

It's not nearly so thick that I feel it comprises my fine-grained control, the way I feel about the Cross Peerless 125 or some of the high-end TACCIA Urushi pens with cigar-shaped bodies and 18K gold nibs. Why would you expect me or anyone else to make explicit mention of it, if it isn't a travesty or such a disappointment that an owner of the pen would want to bring it to the attention of his/her peers so that they could “learn from his/her mistake” without paying the price?

Why nobody says that the section of Tuzu besides triangular shape is quite thick. Honestly it’s the thickest one among my many pens, other thick I own is Noodler’s Ahab. Because of that fat section I feel more control and my handwriting has improved. I can’t say it’s comfortable or uncomfortable, but needs a moment to accommodate. It’s funny because my school years are long over. Besides this pen had horrible F nib. Tines were perfectly aligned but it was so scratchy on left stroke that collecte

Awesome! I'm in the process of preparing my bag for our pen meet this weekend and I literally have none of the items you mention!! I'll see if I can find one or two!

@asota -- Yeah, I think I have a few rolls in my fridge that are probably 20-30 years old at this point (don't remember now if they are B&W or color film) and don't even really know where to get the film processed, once the drive through kiosks went away....  I just did a quick Google search and (in theory) there was a place the next town over from me -- but got a 404 error message when I tried to click on the link....  Ruth Morrisson aka inkstainedruth
