Vintage Montblanc No 32

I recently bought a vintage Montblanc No 32 but noticed there is no snow cap on one end. Only the cap has it. Is this an indication that it is a fake? Someone please advice.

Montblanc has always had and will always have a snowcap only on the cap. HTH

Except for those pens that don't.

That aside @FountainpenLove queried the lack of a logo on the piston knob.

Add lightness and simplicate.

my 34 (the 32's bigger variant) has the snow on both end. it may have fallen off on yours. if it's a piston filler, it's unlikely to be fake.

Disregard my earlier paragraph. I checked my 32 and it does have the snowcap on the bottom.

I have a 32 that was never carried and came in the box. It only has the snowcap on the pen cap. It’s a great pen. I love mine.

and you are right, 32s and 34s have a star at the back too. Sorry to say I'm not interested in these models so I never looked at them with attention.

My bad. I don't know how the 'star' at the back could fall off though. If it has, shouldn't there be some sign of the missing 'star'?
