Extra Fine Nib Ink Review: Büroservice Bergmann Rotfliessende Eisengallustinte

This is review #242 in my series. Here's the YouTube video:

Post-recording notes: Only had one ink that's remotely close to this. The ink changed color almost immediately upon touching the paper, going from reddish to an odd brown with slightly purple leanings.  Used the Penmanship in case of staining.  Cleaning was quick and easy.  I did not try to color correct the images just because the color of the ink changed by the time I could do a comparison.  IMO, the various colors you see will give you a good idea of the range from "fresh" to oxidized (or whatever it is that iron gall inks do).

Can be found here.

Errata: "I darkens..." should be "It darkens...".

Looks like a cool ink to try. Thanks for the review.

If you are to be ephemeral, leave a good scent.

Another fantastic review @LizEF  Those microscopic images are stunning. It's as if their describing the scene of the orange field with the alien like creature in Quin's bag (unless it's good ole Earl of Grey in a tin can ;) )

Thank you for making Tuesday's so special :)

:D :D Hopefully Thom spots them - I expect he'll enjoy that (if he hasn't already seen such images).

@LizEF, thank you a million times for our wonderful Tuesday Treats.

This ink intrigues me.  So many changes!  And I've never even heard of it until now.  The color is way cool.  It's got a fast dry time and easy cleanup in its favor,  too.

I see the Earl's been busy.  Yikes!   But perhaps Makhabesh has spotted a true getaway.  Yay Makhabesh, flying with that heavy pack.  But… why is Quin's pack now heavier?

Guess we will ALL have to tune in next week.

My latest ebook.   And not just for Halloween!

My other pen is a Montblanc.

Yes, I'm impressed by both these inks.
