EFNIR: Waterman Radiant Pink

I didn't realize Pelikan Pink was only available as cartridges.  Someone sent me a sample vial of it a while back just so I could try it.

"It's very nice, but frankly, when I signed that list for a P-51, what I had in mind was a fountain pen."

Getting back into cartridges -- or taking out that what's in them -- every time we discuss that this pink is only available in cartridges, I also think of Pelikan's  Pink, which is also only available in that form...

🤮

@lapis, if you mean Pelikan 4001 Pink: that is available in bottles. But not all shops have it in their standard program. If you are lucky, you may get it from Pagro or Müller (they usually buy them in lots of 50 blues and blacks and greens and violets plus one Pink plus one brown; or so). And all the bigger paper and pen shops who have Waterman bottles also have 4001 bottles of all 9 colours. I'm almost sure you get it in KDW.

One life!

:) You're very welcome.  Waterman cartridges should fit in any Standard International pen.

:) Hope you enjoy!

They arrived today. That was very, very quick. They shipped from a state that borders mine, so that helped.

I might will clean my Visconti Rembrandt Eclipse pen, and put the Radiant Pink cartridge in it.

Maybe I should call the color Makhabesh Radiant Pink.

Yes! Makhabesh throwing pink fireballs out of my pen’s nib. I’ll try posting a writing sample soon. I made an attempt at cleaning the pen out, but expect the darker ink to still be in the feed. Must write it out first.

This reminds me of Herbin Rose Cyclamine, my first thought of that was this isn't pink, it's purple.

It's hard work to tell which is Old Harry when everybody's got boots on.

Yeah, it's very purpley.

I was thinking magenta more than purple. At least it's very readable even in an EF nib, and not pale pastel.

Yes, that's probably a better way to describe it - still looks like it's "leaning purple" to my eyes, but it was a nearly perfect match to Thornton's Magenta.
