Help identifying older Marlen model

After many hours of searching the interwebs, I've given up hope of a quick identification of this model and I'm hoping someone here who is more familiar with Marlen pens can help me out. A bit unusually for Marlen, as I've come to understand, it's a relatively plain model but in very pretty blue and yellow/green acrylic (I assume) with an 18k nib. 

 

The closest I have been able to come to identifying it is the Eclisse, but the end of the barrel is different. This one has a blind cap, in the same acrylic, that fits exactly flush to the barrel. It screws off to expose a captured converter (which I understand comes out with the nib unit when that is unscrewed). I have also seen the same acrylic on the Vitis model and they do look very similar in shape, but this pen does not have the 'matchstick' fill system that uses a key, so there's no big ornate metal keyhole on the barrel. The clip is also slightly different, if I remember correctly.

 

The pen is all resin with no metal parts except for the clip. No cap bands or rings, etc. The section is also made completely of the same resin. It has a tapered wand shape, but the lip of the cap is slightly wider than the barrel so that it doesn't fit flush. The finial has a simple bubble or button shape and the bottom of the barrel is completely flat. There are no markings or logos on the pen itself, that I could find anyway, and only the fancy clip and the nib indicate it's a Marlen.

 

Any help identifying this model would be greatly appreciated!

Wondering if @sansenrimight be able to help? I read in another thread that you have several of the less ornate Marlen models. Any ideas on this one?

Nobody? There are no Marlen owners here who have any idea of what this pen model might be? 

 

I've just inked it for the first time and the nib is really, deliciously, buttery smooth and juicy!

Oh, that sounds promising! I have had zero luck finding any photos of it online and there are no Marlens in the very few pen books/catalogs that I have.

Thank you very much! I only had the Aleph and it wasn't quite enough to make me a real fan (maybe because I wasn't that good at flex when I bought it 😉) but this pen just might have the potential to change that...

I think it's a late version of the Vitis, that at the beginning was made with lateral key filling system (Vitis Key) - approx in 1999/2000 - and later, in 2001 I think, it was made also as cartridge/converter filled and roller (Vitis Standard), with a renewed clip.
Unfortunately I haven't a photo of the standard model but only of the roller..

I recently had the chance to ink it up and put it in my rotation and I love it. Such a nice smooth writer! And even though I have an Aleph, which I bought for the flex before I had ever even heard of Marlen, I still consider this my first Marlen. I’m afraid there may be more to follow!!
