Lamy Al-Star Petrol 2023 Cap Cross/Finial Misaligned

Hi there, I just received a Lamy Al-Star EF I ordered from PenChalet, a reputable US pen seller. I noticed that the nib had a lighter laser engraving than previously-purchased nibs (M), but I wonder if this is just the Case of the EF nib using a different laser engraver. The cross on the finial is also not aligned to the two legs of the clip, instead, it stands at a more perpendicular angle. All other Lamys I have owned (Safari, Vista), have had the cross aligned to the two legs of the clip. Is this just normal manufacturing variation or did PenChalet receive a weird shipment?

As the pen writes very well, I would think it is just normal variation, but the proliferation of counterfeits on Amazon are getting me a little concerned.

I have a Turmaline SE that isn't aligned, and as I got it from Goulet, I'm pretty sure (110%) that it's not a counterfeit. I think that piece being aligned is just luck of the draw for the most part. I've never bothered to adjust it, but maybe you can.

Best is to use something soft. Like a piece of wood or plastic. So the plastic of the finial won't get damaged. But I, for my part, don't bother to adjust it on my pens.
