Request for recommendation of a blue ink to replace Visconti Blue

Recommended Posts

Visconti blue is my favourite blue ink and a daily staple.  I love the colour saturation and the lack of 'purple' in the ink.

Unfortunately the ink is very difficult to find in Australia (where I live) and the UK (from where I often buy ink online). I will be very grateful for recommendations for the similar blue ink to replace which will be easier to buy in Australia or from the UK.

Many thanks for your help folks. Cheers!

Inkswatch is such a great tool. Bless the people who put in the work for all the rest of us, like you do too!

🥰  Thanks, T.

Diamine Blue Velvet

Affordable...was going to finally buy some Visconti Blue after 15 years...and it's a bigger rip off than MB. $28...... I shouldn't have been so cheap back then when it was a normal affordable ink.

Back then I was a bottom feeder....still am, but that is called vintage.

I have a long habit of cheaping out in the wrong time, or place.

I‘m all for Horizon Blue (too). Noodler‘s Blue (no further naming) is also a great pure blue wirh no purple or green… but takes forever to dry
