I bought a bottle of Birmingham Cherry Blossom as part of a package set.

The color is appealing to me if a bit faint. It is however too dry for me.

Here it is compared to Yozakura on Cosmo Air Light. It is warmer and less grey than Yozakura

This one is not likely to see a lot of use.

Thank you for the review.  I have several inks in this shade, so this one did not appeal to me.

Thanks for the review.  This one seems to be a bit too pale on the page for my taste.

Cult Pens has a Diamine Summer ink called "A Jug of Sangria" which is nice.  I generally prefer a little "pinker" tone.  GVFC Yozakura is nice, but tends a little dry.  Also, BPC Chrysan Themum is a little different than most, but quite nice.  Again, though it is somewhat dry.  Truthfully, though I prefer Sailor Shikiori Yozakura over the BPC Cherry Blossom.

Thank you @dragondazd for your ink reviews. Among the recent reviews, this Cherry Blossom looks the most appealing to me. I didn't know the Sailor Yozakura before, which looks very similar in hue and is, maybe, a bit more intense.

Although the inks are pale and muted (murky?), I like what I see from your images.

It looks good with the Lamy stub and it may be intense enough with a TWSBI M or broader.

One life!

Thank you for this review.   I've noticed that the sample swatches on Birmingham's website are very different from those I've seen taken by actual customers, and this is no exception.  The Birmingham swatches make the ink look appealing, but based on this review I think I'll pass.

Thank you for the review.

Fountain pens are my preferred COLOR DELIVERY SYSTEM (in part because crayons melt in Las Vegas).

Thanks for the review, Dragon.
