It's DARK blue!  With feathers.  And it says 'Moo.'  What's not to like?  👍🏻

And they have found the Wiz-In-Chief.  Cool.  Thanks once again, @LizEF, for the review and story.

And no, I don't have this one!

My latest ebook.   And not just for Halloween!

My other pen is a Montblanc.

Great review & story … thanks! As for the ink: this is one that I would have to see in real-life. I do like blue-blacks, and this one does seem to lean in that direction, but somehow it doesn’t speak to me. It looks nice and polite enough, but something seems to be missing - it feels a bit dead & dull to me. So… not sure about this one…  Given that the comments on this one go from Yay to Nay, I won’t judge it before I’ve seen it in person.

An apt description of me.

IMO, there's no black in this, just deep blue.  (Which is probably why it doesn't speak to me.)

:) Wise decision.

Oxford Blue is number 1 among my inks. I searched 20 years for this blue. On white paper it reminds me a well-cut dark Navy-blue suit with a crisp white shirt and a burgundy tie. I almost didn't try a sample because of the name, I'm glad I did. I feel tip top when I use it.

:D  Thanks for sharing this wonderful description of your experience with this ink.

Diamine Oxford Blue is also my favourite and most used ink.  I love the bold contrast of dark blue on white paper that it offers.

Oxfords, not brogues.  Sorry, but that was the first response of my ill-regulated mind to your lovely description.  If you haven't seen the Kingsman films, this photo may help a little to explain: https://www.imdb.com/title/tt2802144/mediaviewer/rm3343709696/

Not sure how I missed this thread before now.  But count me amongst the people who LOVE Oxford Blue!

And, belated thanks for the review.

ETA: Plus one to what Carguy said -- I need to pull this ink out again soon!

"It's very nice, but frankly, when I signed that list for a P-51, what I had in mind was a fountain pen."

You make this ink look so beautiful, I was on the verge of ordering a small 30ml bottle to try it. But it occurred to me to check the other reviews first and it looks very dull in the four in the review section, nothing like the intense, vibrant color you show. :(

:)  Thanks!  No idea what to say about the discrepancies in color.  LG's review seems closest to what I remember - dark blue with sheen.  Visvamitra's looks greener than what I saw.  Samples are your friends. ;)  (Curious that my review isn't listed in the index (yet?).)
