Schaeffer Calligraphy pen

One of my favourites. I think that it is the easiest pen from my lot  when it comes to writing, in a sense that it "obeys" me: I look at the nib, think of the letter I want to write and the pen, in my hand, does what I want it to do. I use it to write titles in my diary and todo list, and the ink colour, red, in cartridges, is just the correct tone.

And a complete kit, of three pens and three different size nibs plus a lot of cartridges in different ink colours, costs around 23€!!!

I am attaching a handwritten sample In English and in Arabic, and a photo of the pen.

Here's a link to the kit:

Yes, these can be great pens. Their predecessor, the No Nonsense, was made for several decades and is known for having nibs with great feeds.

Yes.

Just proves that cheaper pens can also be great writing instruments.

I love writing with it.

Is this a new/modern one?

One of the things that first really interested me in fountain pens was my mom having a set based on the No-Nonsense. IIRC, it had 4-5 different nibs/sections of different widths.

Sheaffer really knows how to make a great inexpensive pen.

I am not familiar with the pen's history, but it is a fine pen and worth looking into if one is keen about calligraphy

I still use mine. Great pens.

Fountain pens are my preferred COLOR DELIVERY SYSTEM (in part because crayons melt in Las Vegas).

I love the older No Nonsense calligraphy pens- I have one from an old set that I put a regular Sheaffer nib section in.Then I have two of the regular No Nonsense fountain pens.
