Expressionery.com - has it gone under?

My favorite store for customized notecards and envelope stamps(but sadly, not letter sheets- I have been bereft since my local spot closed fifteen years ago and William Arthur was bought by Crane, making it no longer the slightly-less-expensive-Crane-alternative) has long been expressionery.com.  I have created and saved a number of designs over the years, and I just order more of the exact same ones when I run out, as long as they are still available.

I recently decided I needed to get some more fold-over notes and tried to go to the webpage.  I have been unable to access the site through either Safari or Firefox.  I have tried private browsing with no luck. I've tried for the last month and have gotten no where, though Retailmenot still seems to be offering coupons as if the store is still around.

I think they were always an etailer without a bricks and mortar presence.  Does anyone know if they are still in business?  If they aren't I'm not sure where to shop, and I would also be sad.  They had some lovely and understated designs that I was able to tweak just the right amount, and the papers played well with most of my pens.

Thanks!

They have a presence on Instagram, and it looks like you can message them from there. I did not find anything much else. They have an old Yelp listing, and a Pinterest profile (don't know what that entails).

Thanks.  I don't have an Insta as they are owned by FB, but I'll try to get someone to check with them for me.  They don't seem to have a working Twitter anymore, I just peeked.

I am sorry to report that I just finished messing around with the Wayback Machine, and the last time expressionery seemed to have a page to be capture was Bastille Day.  I'm quite disappointed, I had inked stamps and envelope closing stickers and notecard designs, all saved...

It's a shame.  :(

And I went ahead and sent them a question on instragram and have had no answer so far (7 days).

Thanks for trying.  It sometimes seems that my liking and valuing something - a show, magazine, product, store, etc.  - is negatively correlated with its long-term existence.

If there were a wistful-face emoticon I would attach that here.

Hi All, for what it is worth ;)! Expressionery is now back online

If you previously created and saved designs and would like to see them again, we’re very happy to help. While older designs don’t always automatically appear in the shop, you can simply message us via the website chat or email hello@expressionery.com, and we can recreate past designs for you.

You’re also very welcome to have a browse through the site to discover all our new template designs. Expressionery continues to focus on customisable stationery, with much more products and designs to come in the next few months.

We’d love to welcome you back and help you rediscover — or re-create — old favourites!

I saw that and was quite excited, but I only saw the stamps and not the notecards.  We used to order all out notes from there; one of the versions I had designed remains my favorite: my monogram in typewriter keys...  Will stationery be returning?

Oh to have that translucent pink Prera! @migo984 has the Oeste series named after birds. There is a pink one, so I’m assuming Este is the same pen as Oeste.    Excellent haul. I have some Uniball One P pens. Do you like to use them? I like them enough, but don’t use them too much yet.    Do you or your wife use Travelers Notebooks? Seeing you were at Kyoto, I thought of them as there is a store there.

It's not nearly so thick that I feel it comprises my fine-grained control, the way I feel about the Cross Peerless 125 or some of the high-end TACCIA Urushi pens with cigar-shaped bodies and 18K gold nibs. Why would you expect me or anyone else to make explicit mention of it, if it isn't a travesty or such a disappointment that an owner of the pen would want to bring it to the attention of his/her peers so that they could “learn from his/her mistake” without paying the price?

Why nobody says that the section of Tuzu besides triangular shape is quite thick. Honestly it’s the thickest one among my many pens, other thick I own is Noodler’s Ahab. Because of that fat section I feel more control and my handwriting has improved. I can’t say it’s comfortable or uncomfortable, but needs a moment to accommodate. It’s funny because my school years are long over. Besides this pen had horrible F nib. Tines were perfectly aligned but it was so scratchy on left stroke that collecte

Awesome! I'm in the process of preparing my bag for our pen meet this weekend and I literally have none of the items you mention!! I'll see if I can find one or two!

@asota -- Yeah, I think I have a few rolls in my fridge that are probably 20-30 years old at this point (don't remember now if they are B&W or color film) and don't even really know where to get the film processed, once the drive through kiosks went away....  I just did a quick Google search and (in theory) there was a place the next town over from me -- but got a 404 error message when I tried to click on the link....  Ruth Morrisson aka inkstainedruth
