@MarcoA63 -- I had been wondering what Diamine Sherwood Green was like as a color.

Now I know (of course, my wallet will be complaining vociferously -- four pens at an estate sale last weekend, another one in the mail from eBay, and I just sent off a check for repairs on some pens that I accidentally left at someone's table at the Baltimore/Washington Pen Show in March (plus getting the case they were in back).  And, of course OTHER bills to be paid before the end of the month -- including the paperwork to renew the registration on both of our vehicles -- complicated by the fact that we were just sent a replacement license plate for one of them: we'd already had that happen for the other one a few years ago, after a "bad" batch of license plates were made... (and of course, PennDot -- in its infinite wisdom [that's sarcasm, BTW] -- only sent us ONE registration card with the new plate number...).

Just cleaned out a Pilot CH 912 <SF>, an orange Parker Duofold Junior, and, if this counts, the Esterbrook Dollar Pen I put back together and tested this morning... which, finally, leaves me an open spot on the roster! [rubs hands together eagerly]

Not today, but then the Sheaffer Triumph wasn’t cleaned yesterday, it just gushed ink out next to the piston rod.  Not a pen to fill-and-forget.

So far today it's been the Noodler's Methuselah Pine Cone Ripple ebonite Konrad, finishing up a fill of what had been diluted Noodler's Prairie Flax).

Trying to decide if I think (this late in the afternoon, since it's after 4 PM EDT here, and I've been up since 6 AM) I'm up for trying to flush anything else out today....

  • 2 weeks later...

I’ve been cleaning a couple a day. I cleaned two Kaweco Sport pens a few days ago. Now I’m cleaning a Lamy Joy, and another Kaweco Sport pen.

A KAWECO Student, white with a blue cap, who behaved terribly on the plane trip. Ink all over the section and cap.

Yes, very much so. Luckily, it was just capital letter practice, so I inked up an Osmiroid with a B4 nib and soldiered on.

1988/pre-97 Marbled Grey... Silver Pearl....OM. (Thanks to Pelikan Perch for his normal grand info I know when it first came out.)

It had been in my cleaned pens, but wasn't quite as clean as expected...

I've read Diamine Chocolate Brown, shades, so wanted a regular flex nib, and wanted M, in that IMO gives better shading than F.

..................

It's not a shade monster, but is there on Oxford Optic90g and slightly darker on Clairefontaine Triomphe 90g.

It is a bit more subtle than I care for, but there is enough shading to make the script look a bit more lively.

Oh to have that translucent pink Prera! @migo984 has the Oeste series named after birds. There is a pink one, so I’m assuming Este is the same pen as Oeste.    Excellent haul. I have some Uniball One P pens. Do you like to use them? I like them enough, but don’t use them too much yet.    Do you or your wife use Travelers Notebooks? Seeing you were at Kyoto, I thought of them as there is a store there.

It's not nearly so thick that I feel it comprises my fine-grained control, the way I feel about the Cross Peerless 125 or some of the high-end TACCIA Urushi pens with cigar-shaped bodies and 18K gold nibs. Why would you expect me or anyone else to make explicit mention of it, if it isn't a travesty or such a disappointment that an owner of the pen would want to bring it to the attention of his/her peers so that they could “learn from his/her mistake” without paying the price?

Why nobody says that the section of Tuzu besides triangular shape is quite thick. Honestly it’s the thickest one among my many pens, other thick I own is Noodler’s Ahab. Because of that fat section I feel more control and my handwriting has improved. I can’t say it’s comfortable or uncomfortable, but needs a moment to accommodate. It’s funny because my school years are long over. Besides this pen had horrible F nib. Tines were perfectly aligned but it was so scratchy on left stroke that collecte

Awesome! I'm in the process of preparing my bag for our pen meet this weekend and I literally have none of the items you mention!! I'll see if I can find one or two!

@asota -- Yeah, I think I have a few rolls in my fridge that are probably 20-30 years old at this point (don't remember now if they are B&W or color film) and don't even really know where to get the film processed, once the drive through kiosks went away....  I just did a quick Google search and (in theory) there was a place the next town over from me -- but got a 404 error message when I tried to click on the link....  Ruth Morrisson aka inkstainedruth
