I received cards today from Raiche58, penhorse87, and Okami. Card sent this morning to hookem11.

Ken, the Texas Wildflowers remind me so much of my **many** visits to the LBJ Ranch. Julie, I have family living in Ocala -- so have tromped around your neck of the woods several times. Rachel, agree -- this is a wonderful way to meet new people & use our pens (and empty out some ink bottles so we can replace 'em with more interesting varieties!).

My best to all,

Paul

My very first cards came in today... PaulK and Deauville (Stunning that the first two cards that came in, and one was from England!) Funny thing is they were postmarked on the same day too!

PS Den, I too love the BRG and I just ran out of it the other day! I keep a nice Parker -51 (green of course) inked with it.

I have a LOT on the way to me... I just won a "vintage dealer lot" of 50 cards on e-bay (all Connecticut based) We shall see what comes in!

Wonderful cards from...

PaulK....Very flourishy handwriting. Loops crashing into each other. I love it! What was the pen and blue ink?

Raiche58...Also great handwriting, but smaller, and no crashing loops. You have a secret green ink recipe? Must have it....

Sorry, I've been remiss. Cards out soon.

sent 6 on saturday

The voice of this guitar of mine, at the awakening of the morning, wants to sing its joy;

I sing to your volcanoes, to your meadows and flowers, that are like mementos of the greatest of my loves;

If I am to die away from you, may they say I am sleeping, and bring me back home.

Recieved CraigR's post card today... You are right, that looks like a great spot for camping!

PS... If anyone in the Connecticut area needs some post cards, I may of bought more than I can use... I won two lots on e-bay and have close to 100 cards on the way! I am going to sort thru what I have, but might have some to share. That's what I get for tossing a bid on another lot thinking that the first one would be out bid on!

      Oh to have that translucent pink Prera! @migo984 has the Oeste series named after birds. There is a pink one, so I’m assuming Este is the same pen as Oeste.    Excellent haul. I have some Uniball One P pens. Do you like to use them? I like them enough, but don’t use them too much yet.    Do you or your wife use Travelers Notebooks? Seeing you were at Kyoto, I thought of them as there is a store there.

      It's not nearly so thick that I feel it comprises my fine-grained control, the way I feel about the Cross Peerless 125 or some of the high-end TACCIA Urushi pens with cigar-shaped bodies and 18K gold nibs. Why would you expect me or anyone else to make explicit mention of it, if it isn't a travesty or such a disappointment that an owner of the pen would want to bring it to the attention of his/her peers so that they could “learn from his/her mistake” without paying the price?

      Why nobody says that the section of Tuzu besides triangular shape is quite thick. Honestly it’s the thickest one among my many pens, other thick I own is Noodler’s Ahab. Because of that fat section I feel more control and my handwriting has improved. I can’t say it’s comfortable or uncomfortable, but needs a moment to accommodate. It’s funny because my school years are long over. Besides this pen had horrible F nib. Tines were perfectly aligned but it was so scratchy on left stroke that collecte

      Awesome! I'm in the process of preparing my bag for our pen meet this weekend and I literally have none of the items you mention!! I'll see if I can find one or two!

      @asota -- Yeah, I think I have a few rolls in my fridge that are probably 20-30 years old at this point (don't remember now if they are B&W or color film) and don't even really know where to get the film processed, once the drive through kiosks went away....  I just did a quick Google search and (in theory) there was a place the next town over from me -- but got a 404 error message when I tried to click on the link....  Ruth Morrisson aka inkstainedruth
