Hello, I picked up this sheaffer pen and am trying to identify it and I can’t seem to find it, also can anyone tell what the nib is it appears to be a broad? But I’m not sure.  I appreciate any help thanks.

Half Balance.  Sheaffer was transitioning away from the flat top pens.

From the section, feed and nib I would date the pen to the late 1920s - early 1930s. But the cap with 'radius' clip appeared only in 1935 so my guess is that the pen did not come from the factory with that cap.

The timeline of the different Balance clips can be found on Richard Binder's history of the Balance webpage.
