They have a great variety of colors now! Orange, blue, gold, red, white, black and yellow. They are all good colors and good writers.

Taking lots of notes today with my Schon Pocket Six with a fine Franklin Christoph nib.  Fun pen for both writing and sketching.

@Waverly That's an interesting color.  I don't think I've ever seen a 51 quite that color (or is it just the lighting and it's really Navy Gray? -- since Dove Grey is a 51 Vac color).

Today for me it's mostly been one of the black 51 Vacs (one of the two pens with the "T6" code on them), .  I had misplaced it, but found it yesterday afternoon.  Just refilled it earlier today with vintage Quink Permanent Blue Black.  Even though it had been missing for the better part of a week, it started right up this morning -- just didn't have enough ink in it to finish morning pages (that got finished with what I think is a Waterman Exclusive, F nib (a pen I didn't remember having until recently) which is inked up with some of the vintage Skrip Royal Blue I picked up at an antiques shop last weekend).

"It's very nice, but frankly, when I signed that list for a P-51, what I had in mind was a fountain pen."

Montegrappa Brenta, Waterman Gentleman, Waterman Expert, Pelikan M600 black tortoise, and my wife’s Visconti Van Gogh. None of these pens were all they could and should have been, so they went to see Kirk Speer on Saturday. All but one of these pens sat uninked because they were no fun to write with. Kirk fixed that. I can’t recommend his work highly enough, each of these is marvelous now.

Today I have used my Wahl-Eversharp Symphony 913, and am testing a converter in a Unic brand pen that belongs to a friend. She couldn’t find any cartridges or converters that fit, so I offered to take it home with me and see if I had anything that fit. It turned out that Herbin fits, as I think it’s a French brand, that tracks. A Chinese converter fits as well, so I bundled up an empty Herbin cartridge, a Larmes de Cassis cartridge, and the converter with the Fine nibbed Unic to take to the Hub for her. This pen is a wonderful writer so far.

Top 5 (in no particular order) of 30 currently inked pens:

Parker Duofold Centennial IM, RO Rose Gold Antiqua

Parker Duofold Lady needlepoint, MB Cool Grey

Pelikan M800 needlepoint, Kuretake Shikon

Platinum PKB 2000, Platinum Cyclamen Pink

Waterman 52 EF, Herbin Bleu Pervenche

It was a bad photo.  The pen is more of Dove Gray than a Navy Gray because I have both and can compare them. However this is an English "51" so who knows what Parker did 70 years ago.

May I ask for your comments about this pen? I have been thinking of buying one but for one or another reason it has been postponed. Thanks.

Waterman Gentleman, Fine nib with Waterman Inspired Blue. The Waterman’s from this period are so wonderful. I need to acquire a Le Man 200 to complete this trifecta.

Oh to have that translucent pink Prera! @migo984 has the Oeste series named after birds. There is a pink one, so I’m assuming Este is the same pen as Oeste.    Excellent haul. I have some Uniball One P pens. Do you like to use them? I like them enough, but don’t use them too much yet.    Do you or your wife use Travelers Notebooks? Seeing you were at Kyoto, I thought of them as there is a store there.

It's not nearly so thick that I feel it comprises my fine-grained control, the way I feel about the Cross Peerless 125 or some of the high-end TACCIA Urushi pens with cigar-shaped bodies and 18K gold nibs. Why would you expect me or anyone else to make explicit mention of it, if it isn't a travesty or such a disappointment that an owner of the pen would want to bring it to the attention of his/her peers so that they could “learn from his/her mistake” without paying the price?

Why nobody says that the section of Tuzu besides triangular shape is quite thick. Honestly it’s the thickest one among my many pens, other thick I own is Noodler’s Ahab. Because of that fat section I feel more control and my handwriting has improved. I can’t say it’s comfortable or uncomfortable, but needs a moment to accommodate. It’s funny because my school years are long over. Besides this pen had horrible F nib. Tines were perfectly aligned but it was so scratchy on left stroke that collecte

Awesome! I'm in the process of preparing my bag for our pen meet this weekend and I literally have none of the items you mention!! I'll see if I can find one or two!

@asota -- Yeah, I think I have a few rolls in my fridge that are probably 20-30 years old at this point (don't remember now if they are B&W or color film) and don't even really know where to get the film processed, once the drive through kiosks went away....  I just did a quick Google search and (in theory) there was a place the next town over from me -- but got a 404 error message when I tried to click on the link....  Ruth Morrisson aka inkstainedruth
