What pen(s) are you using today?

A new to me Mabie Todd Swallow and a Mabie Todd Blackbird.  Both are fine and the Blackbird has a lot of flex.

I’m using the same as yesterday. The Monteverde Mountains of the World Cortina filled with Visconti Blue.

  I ran through a couple of stubs working on my calligraphy today, a TWSBI Eco Slate Blue/Onyx 1.1, and a Chinese pen I made an untipped italic medium. They were inked with Diamine Fir and Fog (really wet- if you like shimmer and have a dry pen, try this) and Wearingeul Robinson Crusoe with some gold mica added respectively. I finished my work with a blue Sheaffer No Nonsense IB inked with a cartridge of Deluxe Blue I put some holographic sky blue mica in. Paper was Strathmore Tracing Paper.
 

  My list writing was done with my Pilot Elite F, inked with Colorverse Dokdo. That one’s turning greener the longer it’s been in the pen. Paper is Filofax personal size cream.

I honestly believe that Parker hit a 99.5% with the Cisele' 75.  Form, fit and function are flawless.  It just oozes class and quality.

If it were 10% larger in size it'd be ideal for me - but it's not their fault my hands are 'L' size.

I had chanced upon one at an estate sale a few years ago but didn't know enough about that model (especially in the Ciséle sterling) to know if the price being asked was good or not (turned out it wasn't bad).  So I spent the next several months educating myself, including going to EVERY table at OPS that fall saying stuff like, "Okay -- why is this one 'X' price and why is that one 'Y' price?"  And got told the difference was French production vs. US, and that the early ones had flat tassies and such.  Of course, by the time I got back to the tables that had ones for under $100 US, they were sold.  But learning about the differences made me feel more comfortable about trying to find one on eBay (that's the one with the B nib -- not a phenomenal price, but at least a fair one).  The one which I got more recently (the one with the F nib?  That was absolutely a steal -- the pen and the matching BP and a couple of spare converters and a wrap (not sure if it's leather or vinyl) and some paperwork and the (original?) box they were all in and I paid a whole whopping fifteen bucks for it all and was just absolutely giddy!  

Oh, yeah, and then a few bucks more for a filler for the BP.... (I love it when I make "Sumgai of the Week"! )  And of course I'm just a total sucker for sterling silver to *begin* with....

Pilot x Takizawa 88th anniversary CH 912, <F>, Kyo No Oto #5 Aonibi (a medium blue that leans slightly brighter than the blue-grey color of the pen, moderate shading.

 

Plus a Pelikan 600 red tortoise, Kirk Speer <F> "Imperial," Taccia Benitsuchi (a deep brick red that harmonizes with the pen).

Waterman Charleston, inked with vintage SSB...a color that feels frivolous and akin to a pink glitter gel pen used by a 4th grade girl.

 

Don't get me wrong, I like the color - it's just jarring next to my stolid brick reds and overcast blue-blacks.

Today, so far, it's been the "Dusty Rose" Striped Laidtone Duofold, F? nib, still with Waterman Serenity Blue.  Not sure offhand what the specific size/model it is, but has the wide cap band between two thin cap bands.
