I used up all the blue ink filled pens and had to fill another- I finally filled the gold plated skeleton blue acrylic Asvine V169 with Waterman Serenity Blue. It’s a great big beautiful monster of a pen.

Top 5 (in no particular order) of 25 currently inked pens:

Parker Duofold Centennial IM, RO Rose Gold Antiqua

MontBlanc Bohème Noir F, MB Midnight Blue

Pelikan M800 needlepoint, Kuretake Shikon

MontBlanc Noblesse M, KWZ Sheen Machine 2

Waterman 52 EF, Herbin Bleu Pervenche

It’s a Fine nib, paper varies by what I am doing that day. My daily journal is a Cartotecnica Monzese for Cavallini blank book, and my agenda this year is from Universe Publishing via Rizzoli. I wrote with it in those.
Right now, I’m starting my day with the Geha 707 with it’s custom teal ink mix, but will be inking my matte black Sheaffer Targa with a Slovenian purple Sheaffer cartridge at some point later in the day.

Welcome to FPN. And where is "here".

Also, sounds like the pen might be a copy/knockoff of the Hero 329.

I don't have any new Sheaffer ink so I looked the purple up online...Some examples leaned toward blue and some toward red..  Does the purple ink in your cartridge lean toward blue or red?

I would say it’s more blue leaning, but not overly so. It looks very in the middle of the purple spectrum. My office lighting is terrible, so I did my best to show what it looks like to me.

I've been having this problem more often than usual of late.  Infuriating.  I'm trying to figure out if it's related to the weather!

I'm not sure how that would be? Humidity maybe?

That’s a gorgeous pen, very art deco. I would forgive that one for drying out.

CluelessMe's had it since '96 and I never realized it's Deco.  😲

It's a very nice writer, you'd like one.  The one I have is a buttery smooth nail that leans ever so slightly toward the dry side.

You always use inks with interesting names. 😀👍

Today's journal pen is a Sailor Shikiori Snowmoon with 14K MF nib and a Sailor Black cartridge. It arrived from Japan this morning. I cannot believe that this colour was so unpopular to be worthy of the lowest price in the discounting. It is exquisite. Maybe it wasn't photographed attractively enough.

Jewellery that writes! 🤍

Will work for pens...

Oh to have that translucent pink Prera! @migo984 has the Oeste series named after birds. There is a pink one, so I’m assuming Este is the same pen as Oeste.    Excellent haul. I have some Uniball One P pens. Do you like to use them? I like them enough, but don’t use them too much yet.    Do you or your wife use Travelers Notebooks? Seeing you were at Kyoto, I thought of them as there is a store there.

It's not nearly so thick that I feel it comprises my fine-grained control, the way I feel about the Cross Peerless 125 or some of the high-end TACCIA Urushi pens with cigar-shaped bodies and 18K gold nibs. Why would you expect me or anyone else to make explicit mention of it, if it isn't a travesty or such a disappointment that an owner of the pen would want to bring it to the attention of his/her peers so that they could “learn from his/her mistake” without paying the price?

Why nobody says that the section of Tuzu besides triangular shape is quite thick. Honestly it’s the thickest one among my many pens, other thick I own is Noodler’s Ahab. Because of that fat section I feel more control and my handwriting has improved. I can’t say it’s comfortable or uncomfortable, but needs a moment to accommodate. It’s funny because my school years are long over. Besides this pen had horrible F nib. Tines were perfectly aligned but it was so scratchy on left stroke that collecte

Awesome! I'm in the process of preparing my bag for our pen meet this weekend and I literally have none of the items you mention!! I'll see if I can find one or two!

@asota -- Yeah, I think I have a few rolls in my fridge that are probably 20-30 years old at this point (don't remember now if they are B&W or color film) and don't even really know where to get the film processed, once the drive through kiosks went away....  I just did a quick Google search and (in theory) there was a place the next town over from me -- but got a 404 error message when I tried to click on the link....  Ruth Morrisson aka inkstainedruth
