I'm a male from the Netherlands and have something with pens.  I have an autistic son and he is focused on fountain pens.  He's only ten years of age.  Next week he'll be eleven and I've found a beautiful pen set in a garage sale.  For his birthday I like to restore the fountain pen. I hope someone could help me to get the pen open and maybe the brand of the pen. 

I'll post the question also in the repair section. 

I really hope someone can help me it will make him very happy 😊.

Welcome to the forum, and what a nice idea for a gift for your son! Nice looking Degussa nib and a lovely striated celluloid! I can't quite make out the name it says the fountain pen is. Is is possible that it says CAWS fountain pen?

Welcome Dhk123. Such a lovely pen set. I'm very fond of the grey striations. Beautiful.

I also read 'Caws Fountain Pen' and 'REG Trade Mark' on the barrel (just from the photos)

I hope the repair goes well and you and your son enjoy your project
