Vintage Scripto Mechanical Pencil long lead and erasers....need some refills!

I was wondering if anyone had found a place to get eraser refills for a vintage Scripto mechanical pencil?  The old colorful ones that we all used in the 70's and 80's!  I believe they are model number K780?  I still love using mine daily but I am having a hard time finding eraser refills for it.  Does anyone know where to get them other than finding ones on eBay every now and then?  Also, I wanted to check and make sure I have the product numbers correct.  I believe the erasers are J150 or J159?  What is the difference between those and the J250 refills?  Also, I believe the lead is the Long Lead refills possibly E430?  I want to say they are the 1.1mm leads.  Pretty thick.  Right now I still just have the one pencil, but hoping to get more if anyone knows of some good ones for sale!  Thanks for the help!

I have a hack for you (developed after visiting this page a while back and realizing that Roger Russell is deceased).

All it took was one trip to the art/drafting store

See picture.

Buy the drafting pencil lead that comes in a long plastic tube; all you actually want is the tube. My label says "Pacific Arc". It cost less than $2

Buy a cheap clicky eraser thingy by Alvin (model NE24). It also cost less than $2.

That plastic tube just barely that fits top metal tube part of the Scripto that holds the eraser. So...jam the plastic tube in there and cut it to the length/depth that the original eraser clip would have fit (it's a slightly narrower portion of the metal tube).  Cut off the excess plastic tubing with a sharp blade.

That Alvin eraser fits very snugly in the plastic tube.  So...jam that Alvin eraser in there to the depth of your little bit of cut plastic tubing.  Then trim off what you consider to be the appropriate amount of eraser.

It ain't perfect, but it's pretty darn good, and the eraser material is certainly fresh and modern.  And you'll have plenty of tubing and eraser left over to use on other Scriptos
