Pelikan Edelstein Golden Beryl

Here is the new Pelikan 2021 LE Edelstein ink.

Luckily i am into orange and yellow lately.

Yes I like it very much and will often use it. Probably mostly without the glitter.

As expected flow smoothness and saturation are nib feed and paper dependent. Yes this is very good. It is a pleasure to write with in a good pen and on good paper. Also very legible.

Not bad, to use a litote.

Papers are TR52 and the new Kokuyo Perpaned (anagram for pen and paper) 95gsm.

That's a lot of glitter  to create the illusion of gold...

It's interesting how the colour is more intense in a finer nib.

Thanks for this nice review. Very good photography. I'm amazed (and happy) that it is so legible. Funny thing being that I already bought it a month ago but haven't even opened it because I don't have access anymore to a high-speed centrifuge....

Thanks for the beautiful review! The ink’s colour is really nice and surprisingly legible. I got my bottle yesterday - not a glitter fan, but it’s an Edelstein so I had to have it. Played around with it for a bit. The glitter is not firmly attached to the ink, but gets all over the place. Yup… glitter is definitely not my thing. The base colour is very nice though! I will use this Golden Beryl without stirring the bottle,  to minimise the amount of golden particles in my fill. Suits me much better.

How do you like the Kokuyu Perpanep papers? (for those searching for these it is spelled with a P at the end). I have some loose leaf Sara Sara and for the little I've used it, I like it so far. It is listed as smooth. I am quite interested in the Kokuyu Perpanep tsuru tsuru paper Kokuyu describes as "ultrasmooth".

Bought a bottle of this ink. The base colour really appeals to me. It’s very beautiful even without the shimmer. A quick side-by-side with KWZ El Dorado tells me that the latter contains much more orange. I’ve always cherished El Dorado but I think I like Golden Beryl even more.

I recently got a sample of Beryl. I like it a lot. But the shimmer suspension settles quickly. You have to shake the pen often to avoid uneven concentrations on the page. Great color tho!
