Need help for waterman Ideal 42 safety pen repair

I am waiting for this pen to arrive. Need how to replace the sealing and restore the pen. 

And a possibility to find a repacement cap as the pen cap has a bad crack too.

The classical technique uses a wine-bottle cork, some drilling, shaping and boiling in wax.  The newer technique uses O-Rings.  It is much easier.

@Addertooth thank you for the info and the link . I prefer O-rings (Doubles), easy and if it gets worned-out  replace again. My concern is how to open the sealing knob and never had or used a tapping pin. I have several pens sections too to clean and restoring too.

I have disassembled  and cleaned the pen all I need is get the O-Rings /cork washer fixed!!

I can get distracted with having too many pen projects going at once.

I have a continental overlay 42 which needs for me to replace it's seals as well.

This is why I had already researched this repair.
