Wahl-Eversharp Adjustable Nib Retipping?

Orangutan

Recommended Posts

Hi all,

I just purchased a Wahl-Eversharp Doric Junior with a #6 adjustable nib on it recently. To my dismay, part of the tipping on the XF nib has broken off, which was not made clear in the pictures I saw online. I was wondering if anyone might be able to point me towards someone capable or re-tipping it, or even somewhere I could buy a replacement. I'd appreciate anyone's input on the issue.

Thanks

I think Nibs.com does re=tipping. I am sure there are others as well.

If you think the seller intentionally did not divulge (in the images or the text) the condition of the nib you might consider asking for a partial refund (or suggest that you will contest the sale) to cover your cost for re-tipping.

Good luck,
