Can you get the nib out just by pulling the feed? If not you need to knock it out from the back. Does the section unscrew? If not then you need to remove the piston from the back.

Notice the shape of the feed, ribs on the side
, like wings. I have never had a Parax pen before, but even so, very unusual feed shape, isn't it? Notice the tiny bit of remnant nib (which broke off) at the top of the feed.

@DaneaxeHi it may be too late this time, but have a look at Band Clamp on Dr. Laurence Oldfield's site. https://penpractice.com/page3.html Scroll to about middle of the page. It should help minimise such risk.

Hi Como - Thanks for the suggestion, I'll look at it at my convenience.
As you can imagine, I'm fumbling along, learning as I go, with this Parax the "victim" of my efforts.
:D

All the special tools involved do not exist, AFAIK... Coz I'm learning, starting from scratch!

I have now, with excellent guidance from Siamackz, gotten this vintage Parax pen completely separated into parts, as seen in the pic below.

Unfortunately, during this process, hairline cracks happened as I squeezed the barrel to hold it in place while I (literally) hammered the feed out the barrel. "The cost of doing business", maybe, but still a shame... Notice one of the cracks in the demonstrator window - there are three total.
