Sheaffer Grey (old stock)

I know I still owe the board the review of StandardGraph Sky Blue, but in the meantime, I've dug out one of the other previously unused bottles of ink in my drawer - Sheaffer Grey. I never thought I'd like this ink, but now that I'm using it, I do. I think that's partly matching the right ink to the right pen. This particular Waterman has been on-again-off-again in my rotation of inked pens.

 

Apparently this ink is no longer commercially available, but if you should find some and like the subtle shading, I recommend it!

I rather like that. A nice, uncomplicated grey ink. There's always room for one of those!
