hi, Ink-republic a few years have about 14 of the flat tops and 8 or the duel tipped.

May I ask, completely without prejudice, what is it about the designs of those pens that makes them Art Deco? Are you talking about the shapes, or the materials, or both or neither? Thank you.

Hi Paul,

 

Principally the shape, but also the pattern/colour combination, which are both very typical of that period.

If you review some historically set dramas on TV (Art Deco period) and take notice of the props and artwork they use, you'll start to get a feel for it.

Some of the earlier "Poirot" episodes are set in that period and present the design sentiment quite well. Look carefully and you'll notice the artistic trend in both the architecture the series makes use of and the day to day items set around the actors (together with the personal items they carry).
