Looking for A5 journal/notebook with 6mm spacing

I am looking for an affordable journal/notebook with 6mm line spacing, A5 size.  I have been using LEUCHTTURM1917 and they are ideal except for the ghosting issue with fountain pens.  I just tried Rhodia web notebook and do not care for the spacing.  And I understand that Claire Fountaine using the same spacing.  Any other FP-friendly notebooks I missed?  If it matters, I am in the USA.  Thanks.

You can search JetPen's A5 notebooks by line spacing to find a selection. Also be aware that Apica has a CD line that has notebooks in a 6.5mm spacing, which might also suit you. Goulet pens and probably others also allow you to search by line ruling width.

Thanks.  I bought a few A5 notebooks from Goulet recently and do not like the spacing.  I got the Rhodia Web notebooks.  I also do not like the smooth paper as I like the sound of writing as well.  The quality is good - just not what I am after.  I did check Jet also but did not find what I wanted.  I will give it a second look.  I may just go back to the Leuchtturm1917 and just accept the ghosting.  Thanks.

What about the other notebooks were not to your taste? Jetpens has a listing of many notebooks that include some with toothier paper, as well as lots of documentation on the various types of paper that they carry. There are many other vendors around as well that include lots of fountain pen friendly paper in a wide array of styles for you to pick from, and Fountain Pen Love has tons of reviews that include a discussion of the paper texture. I'd check them out and you'll probably be able to find something that you like.

I used to use Moleskine for the longest time as I was unaware of other brands.  Since then I have mostly been using LEUCHTTURM1917 and I can tolerate the ghosting if necessary.  Recently I tried a Rhodia web notebook and that is the one with the smooth paper I do not care for.  I have a pad of Clairefontaine lned and that's fine for letters.   I also have Tomoe River paper which I really like.  Another factor is price as I am on a pretty tight budget.  I just may stick with LEUCHTTURM1917.  Thanks.

Wait, you dislike the ghosting on Leuchtturm1917 paper but find Tomoe River paper desirable? TR is one of the highest ghosting papers out there. What do you mean by ghosting?

Hope this gets to you before you make your choice.  Three years ago I discovered Elia Note.  The journal has just under 500 pages of TR 52 gsm and uses the Otabind system of binding I think, which allows the volume to lay flat when you open it.  Not cheap but considering the amount of paper and its quality, really worthwhile.  I think they've recently gone from 6mm to 7mm line spacing so it may not be for you.  Certainly worth a look and service is delightful!

Elia has been out of stock for a couple of months  😩

Add lightness and simplicate.

Barnes&Nobel has an A5 Piccadilly journal that they sell for $6-$7 in store (I think it's twice as expensive if you try to buy it online for some reason). I think it has 240 pages (counting both sides) and works well with everything (fountain pens, pencils, etc). The paper doesn't feather or bleed. There is a bit of ghosting if you're looking for it, but it won't prevent you from using both sides of the paper. The  paper has a little bit of texture so it works well with pencils, but is still smooth enough to work well with fountain pens.

My only complaint is that the paper is slightly yellowish, but it's not as bad as some other brands I've seen and used.

Edit: the line spacing is 6mm.

The Piccadilly A5 has 6mm line spacing. I've also seen it with a dot pattern and blank, but the 6mm lines is what I see the most of.

I also fell in love with the format thanks to Moleskine, but found their paper useless for fountain pens. I've found much nicer paper in alternatives, but without the Moleskine paper colour and line-spacing. Paperblanks make some of my favourite planners, but their Ultra notebooks have 8.16mm line spacing, which isn't for me.
