Recommended Posts

Hi Folks!

We just received the new limited production Esterbrook Estie Maraschino pens and the gold plated trim fountain pens are first in stock. It's 5.9 inches long and features a gold plated #6 German JOWO stainless steel nib. The cap and barrel are made from a marbled translucent polished acrylic. The cap has an interesting cushion cap closure that requires a little push while twisting it on or off. The trim is gold plated. It is a cartridge / converter type and with the addition of the MV adapter it can use vintage Esterbrook nibs. This same pen is available with palladium plated trim.

Retail price is $195. PenHero price is $156.
We have extra fine, fine, medium, broad and 1.1 stub nib pens in stock!
All rest will be posted quickly.

Are these convertible to eyedropper?

Hi Pearlfox,

No. The Estie has metal threads on the section. Mine is a great writer, though.

I like the red with chrome trim best. It pops!

Received my OS in the chrome and it really does pop!

Are these convertible to eyedropper?

I do not believe you can eyedrop this one. There is a metal step portion you screw both the body and nib section together. Because of that metal part, I do not believe this would work as an eyedropper. Usually, if there is any metal section, no matter how minimal you are unable to eyedrop it because of the metal mixing with the ink.

Is this the one which is not the OS? Nice, but you need a little light added. The cherry color is so much more vibrant.
