I spent some quality time with my Hobonichi, and we determined we can publish a video on 2 or 3 Fridays a month, so my new schedule is every Tuesday and some Fridays. :D

Yeah, definitely not blurple. Unfortunately, I don't have the tools or skills for fabulous color reproduction. The closeup is pretty, uh, close.

My regards and thanks to Hobonichi...... :P

Yeah, it reminds me a bit of the 54th Massachusetts without the shading

You had me at Sherlock!

I'm glad it's a rich blue and not some dreary color aimed at replicating his Inverness Great Coat or Deerstalker. I love tweed but I've yet to see an ink that can show all the colors of a good tweed at once.

(Is Sailor Ink Studio taking any suggestions?)

Sounds like you need a sample!

And I have no ins with Sailor Ink Studio - if I did, my house would be overflowing with ink. ;)

Here's the line width measurement. The line is one of those used for dry time.  Magnification is 100x.  The grid is 100x100µm.  The scale is 330µm, with eleven divisions of 30µm each.  The line width for this ink is roughly 265µm.
