Burnt Umber and Sepia

Following Jimmy's topic on colours, I was intrested to fine out if there was any difference between the two.

Hi,

 

The Burnt Amber was changed to Sepia Blue under new ownership. But, the pen in the old Stylophiles article is a different finish.

 

Classic Brown and Bracket Brown are the same finish. However, when the pen has black ends it is known as Bracket Brown as per our Nelson show below.

Ah hah! I've been thinking there must be a "bracket" in England in that mix of browns, but now I think it just means [brown pen body] with those brackets being black. That's much easier to remember.

What's really odd is that the Diamine ink colour 'Umber' is green. Strange name, nice ink - use it all the time.
