Seitz Kreuznach Navy Blue

SK Navy Blue is a decent blue black. Nothing exciting but great for work if you're looking for a blue black. The flow and lubrication are good. It's somewhat water resistant. And it's cheap.

(It looks very close to KWZI Blue Black but slightly lighter.)

Hm... I like that very much, especially in the Pelikan, with those really crisp lines. Too bad that to get it here, is not cheap. At all.

Enjoy!

Thanks, Lgsoltek, for another amazing review.

Note to self: Stop looking at reviews of blue-black-ish inks! You have more than enough already!

Yes, but... his reviews are such a joy to behold, even if you never actually get the ink. And yes, blue black(ish) is dangerous. It also seems all my dregs collections could be classified as blue-blackish...

But it's that very joy that makes me want the ink! It's a vicious circle!

Great review, as usual! Thank you for taking the time to do it. It is a very nice color.

I'm glad that your comparisons included Bleu des Profundeurs, an ink I like very much (and immediately thought of when I saw the first image in the review) but it definitely seems a little different. And is that SHEEN I'm seeing?

Thanks as always for the review. My wallet of course is saying otherwise.... Wondering how close this is to Edelstein Tanzanite, which doesn't sheen AFAIK, but is well behaved and (unlike many blue-blacks) doesn't lean teal).

Reminds me of Edelstein Tanzanite, too.

Like the splotch. And the color comparisons. I enjoy your reviews.

Great review! Thank you.

Fountain pens are my preferred COLOR DELIVERY SYSTEM (in part because crayons melt in Las Vegas).

Another great review. I like the looks of this ink ... a lot. Definitely a blue-black that I can see myself using on a regular basis. But no ... the line must be drawn ... here and no further ... no more inks shall enter this home (at least for the next few weeks or so ;-)

One of my favourite workhorse blue blacks. Cheap as chips in the UK (sorry guys) and is currently married to my Visconti Homo Sapiens EF.

A fabulous review as ever. I never tire of them. Thank you.

Oh you just had to say that didn't you!? [Liz eyes her London Fog, EF] Please excuse me while I go update my Amazon wish list.

Seriously, something happened when they met. Its beautiful in there. Kind of takes a box standard working ink and makes it something special.

Sorry, not sorry. 😇

Sounds like my Sailor Pro Gear Slim, F and Diamine Salamander - the two have been having a torrid affair ever since they first met. It's almost embarrassing to be seen with them. ;)

So lovely when that happens.

And, Salamander. Bravo. An often maligned ink.

Beautiful review, thanks. And I'm going to HOLD THE LINE on any more blue-black ink for the moment. This one goes in the "ink wishes" file.

I wonder how close the color is to Pelikan 4001 BB? Looks very similar to me.
