Pilot Metropolitan Vs Pilot Kakuno

Hello everybody!

I hear it all the time that Metropolitan and Kakuno share the same nib, to my eyes Metropolitan medium lines look thicker than Kakuno.

Could anyone please share some details or share some writings samples?

Thanks

Nobody's quality control is absolutely perfect. Even among Toyota Corollas, there's some variation. Pilot also uses those nibs for the Prera and Explorer, and the nibs are interchangeable among all those and the Plumix. And the ink and paper used will also affect line width.

Yes, there's a little variation in tolerance, and which model pen you're using doesn't necessarily have anything to do with it: the nib on my Metropolitan medium writes a broader line than the medium nib on my daughter's Metropolitan.
