I need more flex pens cuz these 2 reds... Uhhhhggg i cant use them really, just like the orange sample and the purples i have. 90% of me whipping out a pen is for business or legal so i HAVE to use blue/black... So i make up for it with flex lol im TRYING to start a bujo but then it ends up black/blue cuz i only have one flex nib pen... I knew where this was going the moment i HEARD about fountain pens with flex nibs... "Oooooh this is gunna get expensive fast" LOL

DMACT, as an attorney all of my inks are for business or legal. I use a lot of bright colors.

Don't forget you can also add a dash of back to the color to darken it. Only mix is small batches.

Our court here is very... Gripey... about almost anything. They accept my blue signatures but i get an earful everytime. Never write an inmate with a fountain pen... I thought it would be a good excuse to use them? Even the most rigurously bulletproof inks have had SOME level of bleeding if they get wet... Prisons will reject even microscopic bleed (or even if the envelope discolors because it got wet in the mail). Lol you're super lucky to get to use such freedom with your inks, mine all lavish in the dark recesses of my bujo :(

When have to write to prisoners I make sure to use the laser printer (not the inkjet) and I use Noodler's Luxury Blue. It shows in UV and does not move with water.

Eh now? Really... Luxury blue you say? I shall have to give that a test. Our local sytem is even worse than the federal prisons, they will just randomly deny inmates letters for X excuse. One letter i sent the inmate said the guards confiscated it for being written in pencil, it was baystate blue. One they said i used marker, it was baystate blue. One they said wasnt written in blk/blue, it was... Wait for it... Bay...state... Blue. I gave up and only mail them stuff if its absolutely impossible to do through the inmate email system, cheaper anyway

If I were in the US, I'd take you up on that. I do like those dark, almost nondescript navy blues. But to get it, via mail, all the way out here, naaah... not worth both our trouble. Thanks for offering though. I did notice you did not restrict to the US, which I much appreciate.

I am late with my review! Thank you, Amberleadavis, for this very fun PIF!

Here it is my surprise ink: Gamma Raduga-2 Red:

Oh to have that translucent pink Prera! @migo984 has the Oeste series named after birds. There is a pink one, so I’m assuming Este is the same pen as Oeste.    Excellent haul. I have some Uniball One P pens. Do you like to use them? I like them enough, but don’t use them too much yet.    Do you or your wife use Travelers Notebooks? Seeing you were at Kyoto, I thought of them as there is a store there.

It's not nearly so thick that I feel it comprises my fine-grained control, the way I feel about the Cross Peerless 125 or some of the high-end TACCIA Urushi pens with cigar-shaped bodies and 18K gold nibs. Why would you expect me or anyone else to make explicit mention of it, if it isn't a travesty or such a disappointment that an owner of the pen would want to bring it to the attention of his/her peers so that they could “learn from his/her mistake” without paying the price?

Why nobody says that the section of Tuzu besides triangular shape is quite thick. Honestly it’s the thickest one among my many pens, other thick I own is Noodler’s Ahab. Because of that fat section I feel more control and my handwriting has improved. I can’t say it’s comfortable or uncomfortable, but needs a moment to accommodate. It’s funny because my school years are long over. Besides this pen had horrible F nib. Tines were perfectly aligned but it was so scratchy on left stroke that collecte

Awesome! I'm in the process of preparing my bag for our pen meet this weekend and I literally have none of the items you mention!! I'll see if I can find one or two!

@asota -- Yeah, I think I have a few rolls in my fridge that are probably 20-30 years old at this point (don't remember now if they are B&W or color film) and don't even really know where to get the film processed, once the drive through kiosks went away....  I just did a quick Google search and (in theory) there was a place the next town over from me -- but got a 404 error message when I tried to click on the link....  Ruth Morrisson aka inkstainedruth
