Only 40 bottles of this were made, and the ink is "Anti Feather" what Nathan doesn't say is that it is near bullet proof, fuss free, water resistant and RETINA searing. I am totally in love. Special thanks to my friend, Sid. This is my new favorite ink.

Here is how you can see that it does not feather and does not bleed through even on cheap paper. This is an extreme closeup on the recycled 3x5 index cards.

The purple is a Crayola Permanent Take Note! Marker.

As you can see from the reverse, no bleed through.

Sad thing is I was at that pen show -- my first ever. But I didn't know this ink was a thing. Recently I've been looking for exactly that kind of glowing orangey-pink red. Well I'm hoping my incoming Diamine Coral will be something like it. But this Noodler's ink seems perfect :(

So, here is where I used a wet paint brush, and the ink holds up.

BTW, the Pilot reds are close, but are NOT water resistant.

Great in-depth look at this very rare ink ... 40 bottles ?!? ... that makes it worth its weight in gold. And a technically very superior ink at that! Fortunately for me I'm not into vibrant inks, so this is not a red for me. If this was my kind of colour, I would be upset for days at not being able to get a bottle of it :D

I've been told that if we make requests for this ink, that NT will make it. Can I say that it is BSB vibrant but did not stain the Boston Safety Demonstrator.

Huh. I tried the Platinum Mix-free Flame Red early on -- but my results were not nearly as "red" as what I'm seeing on my screen for your comparison: it was more like the color of Mecurachrome (for those old enough to remember that) a really orange-y red that would probably be right up Amberlea's alley for eye-searing. I gave away the bottle to the guy who now runs the mailing list for my local pen club to use for grading (he's a math professor at one of the local colleges), because I couldn't stand it; Josh then gave it away to my friend Karl (who may still have it, for all I know), or who may have given it away to someone else. Just as long as it doesn't come back to me....

If Mao Xi looks like what I remember of Mix-Free Flame Red, I'm not interested....

      Oh to have that translucent pink Prera! @migo984 has the Oeste series named after birds. There is a pink one, so I’m assuming Este is the same pen as Oeste.    Excellent haul. I have some Uniball One P pens. Do you like to use them? I like them enough, but don’t use them too much yet.    Do you or your wife use Travelers Notebooks? Seeing you were at Kyoto, I thought of them as there is a store there.

      It's not nearly so thick that I feel it comprises my fine-grained control, the way I feel about the Cross Peerless 125 or some of the high-end TACCIA Urushi pens with cigar-shaped bodies and 18K gold nibs. Why would you expect me or anyone else to make explicit mention of it, if it isn't a travesty or such a disappointment that an owner of the pen would want to bring it to the attention of his/her peers so that they could “learn from his/her mistake” without paying the price?

      Why nobody says that the section of Tuzu besides triangular shape is quite thick. Honestly it’s the thickest one among my many pens, other thick I own is Noodler’s Ahab. Because of that fat section I feel more control and my handwriting has improved. I can’t say it’s comfortable or uncomfortable, but needs a moment to accommodate. It’s funny because my school years are long over. Besides this pen had horrible F nib. Tines were perfectly aligned but it was so scratchy on left stroke that collecte

      @asota -- Yeah, I think I have a few rolls in my fridge that are probably 20-30 years old at this point (don't remember now if they are B&W or color film) and don't even really know where to get the film processed, once the drive through kiosks went away....  I just did a quick Google search and (in theory) there was a place the next town over from me -- but got a 404 error message when I tried to click on the link....  Ruth Morrisson aka inkstainedruth
