Match A Conid Bulkfiller

So, I can bet everyone on this topic is also a fountain pen fanatic! I am. So here's my question, we all know that the Conid Bulkfiller is a unique type of item. Most of the "commercial" fountain pen makers have the accompanying ball/rollerball pen for their fountain pen. Conid doesn't. So my question to you Aficionado's (respectfully) what ballpoint or roller ball would be a nice accompaniment in terms of cool for the Conid Buikfiller?

You might want to indicate which model and configuration Conid you have in mind.

Maybe email conid and ask if they could custom make something? If you're in for a conid cost, you can probably afford something custom.

Well fact is I obtained one at a very reasonable price and it's a bucket list purchase. So I'm not interested in paying retail for conid ballpoint. I thought someone may have already done this.

If you're okay with a metal pen that matches the industrial feel of a conid, Karas Kustoms and Tactile Turn both make impressive rollerballs.

 

As far as a clear acrylic design, apart from a rollerball insert in a PenBBS pen (so it'd still be using FP ink) I can't think of anything. You'd be best set just going with a rollerball you really, really like.

 

The montegrappa nerouno has a pretty whimsical, interesting finish that might play well with a conid.

 

I just don't really care for FP/Rollerball sets. I prefer a pen/pencil set.
