Not to my knowledge. No event nothing. But we are a few amateurs nonetheless.

I sold yesterday my M600 vibrant orange to a person from Lausanne. Thats how we met.

So there are people interested.

I'm in touch with Mr Guillaume Chappuis from Lausanne, who has a shop in Neuchatel.

On Facebook: Empire de l’Ecriture. (i never ever go on FB).

Myself i live in Geneva.

fountainpagan, thanks for the link, I had never heard of that museum before... something to check out for sure.

inking, thanks for link to the shop in Lausanne, I'm in and around Zürich usually, so I've never been to this shop. But not I'll check it out.

Maybe, if we can find enough interested pen-friends, we can organise something...

Hi Bebox,

No i am meeting Mr Chappuis for the first time In about 12 days. He might be interested buying 3 Franklin Christoph and 2 Sailor SE pens from me.

Myself i have only experience with Mr Masuyama whose work is beyond my expectations.

I also bought 2 Nakayas from Nibs with bespoke tuned nibs. Both keepers.

Bellow links to nibmeisters i discovers thanks to the FPN community.

It would be nice if we had some more genius nib workers in Europe :o)

John Sorowka is one of them. Perhaps there are some new nibmeisters these day we haven't heard of ?

Hello all,

I'm sorry to get here late to the party.

I also took some time to look up for a FP Swiss community.

Hi from Geneva

If anything changed since 2019 and now among the Swiss fp community, I'd be glad to know all about it :)

Thank you and hope one day we could organise some cool stuff ^^

Hey ! that's great ! Very happy to know that ! 😗

I would love to be part of your next pen meet, that is, if you'll accept eine Genferin mit sie?

Did you start an "on app" community  (discord/FB...) ? I see you are quite active here 🤩

Well Thank you for your answer, it's good to know their are others around.

Hello @christof, hello @Paradoxal,  I would be delighted to know you both in one of these meeting as well.  I am not aware of any sort of community here in Zurich.

Thanks for your answer. I agree that it is nice to see someone else around.

Grüezi,

@ImLuke , it's very cool that you popped up and manifested yourself.

I love that you're as enthusiast as I am to discover about the pen meets happening not far from us.

Thank you @christof for your reply and for getting in touch.

Cheers

Thanks for the info (I only used B&W film and learned to process that).   Boy -- the stuff I learn here!  Just continually astounded at the depth and breadth of knowledge in this community! Ruth Morrisson aka inkstainedruth

      >Well, I knew people who were photography majors in college, and I'm pretty sure that at least some of them were doing photos in color,<   I'm sure they were, and my answer assumes that. It just wasn't likely to have been Kodachrome.  It would have been the films I referred to as "other color films." (Kodachrome is not a generic term for color film. It is a specific film that produces transparencies, or slides, by a process not used for any other film. There are other color trans

@Ceilidh -- Well, I knew people who were photography majors in college, and I'm pretty sure that at least some of them were doing photos in color, not just B&W like I learned to process.  Whether they were doing the processing of the film themselves in one of the darkrooms, or sending their stuff out to be processed commercially?  That I don't actually know, but had always assumed that they were processing their own film. Kodachrome 25 was the most accurate film for clinical photography and was used by dermatologists everywhere. I got magnificent results with a Nikon F2 and a MicroNikkor 60 mm lens, using a manually calibrated small flash on a bracket. I wish there were a filter called "Kodachrome 25 color balance" on my iPhone camera.
