Sailor Ink Studio Swatch Tests – Part 03 – The Blues Part 01

This is the third part of my Sailor Ink Studio swatch tests. The swatch cards shown are the first part of an extensive range of blues. These ones are what I’d call the dusty marine blues. Any one of these inks or a combination of inks would be ideal to consider for marine painting? Once again, what is instantly striking is the dramatic chromatography.

Lovely, lovely, lovely. I must admit that I was never very interested in the Ink Studio line but you've shown what interesting colors they have. I don't need, or even much want, any new inks, there are colors here that if available in the US I'd probably be spending some change on them. But the EU cost, plus shipping makes them cost prohibitive for the US. Still nice to behold! Thank you.

They are beautiful inks but you pay for that! I only have 3ml samples and treated myself to the complete set because I'm addicted to coloured inks. I'll be posting the complete range over the coming weeks. Nick
