Sailor Calligraphy Pen

I just bought the Sailor HighAce neo Clear 1.5 calligraphy pen at the local Kinokuniya. In addition to the 1.5, there was a 1.0 and 2.0. Three short cartridges are included in the package. The package states there is a converter available. I didnt get a converter, because I wanted to check out the nib before spending more money. The 1.5 nib appears, to my eye at least to be wider than the Lamy 1.5. The pen is clear plastic and very light weight. I would say on a brief first writing that Lamy and Pilot dont need to worry about the competition. But, if you like stubs, you might check it out.

is it still that 'typical' feedbacky noisy pencil-like Sailor writing sensation?

This is my first Sailor pen. It is very straight and does feel somewhat like a pencil. It is very lightweight. It feels slightly heavier than a Varsity or a Plumix. But it also feels cheaper, though it is not. I bought it because I like stubs and I was curious about the nib.
