Buying Indian Pens In The Uk

I'd like to replace my Wality 77 with another, (or a Camlin 47, which seems to be pretty much the same thing).

Where can I buy one in the UK? Sadly, I don't expect to be able to just go to a shop and pick one up, but presumably they are to be had online here? Somewhere?

Try this perhaps: http://asapens.in/eshop/

Mr. S is a nice man but he has recently lost a few family members so I don't know if that will affect processing time. He has a very good inventory of fountain pens though with shipping included in the price.

Wality and Camlin have discontinued the piston ranges, rather significant changes have been made.

I have not seen Wality 77PD with there suppliers for quiet some time.

I would recommend a Beena Lincoln instead.

However in case you are keen on Wality design, suggest you should get in touch with Hari, as 77RD is better than 77 PD the piston version

I've been carrying my Beena Lincoln with me everywhere for a few weeks now. It's a great smooth pen. Definitely recommend, if you want a piston filler.

Yeah Beena/Lincolns are great pens, if you want an open nib piston pen.

I have quite some experience with these pens. The nib housings are particularly fragile and tend to self crack. The cap liner of metal cap versions tend to come loose and might need to be aligned properly and re-glued. With a small trick, the piston can be disassembled without cracking or breaking it, old grease can be removed and fresh silicone grease can be applied.

I did not know about quality piston fillers from indian brand till now. Thank you guys for the wonderful info.

Time to contact Asapens.

On a side note, i would like to point out that Chelpark Sona looks like a rip-off of pelikan.

No offense, just my thoughts.

Thanks again.

Chelpark Sona is identical to the Lincoln except for the design pattern on cap. Its a very nice pen better than Lincoln in my opinion. So go for it if asa still has them.

I have been searching high and low for Chelpark Sona, but no luck so far. Can anyone help?
