What Is "reverse Trim"?

I've seen it being mentioned across many posts before, but never quite found a definition of it. If a Parker Vacumatic in Pearl Gray has GOLD trim, is that reverse trim?

"Uncatalogued specimens exist of gray pens with gold-filled furniture..." taken from the website Freddy mentioned. I got that pen not long ago, I plan to get it restored in time for my dad's birthday.

Reverse trim would be chrome trim by Freddy's link.

Could be one or the other...........

Point of the link was for the young man to bookmark and use in future...by the way there are other useful sites......he could find..bookmark..use.....

In the 21st century..young man does not haveta get off his six physically and mosey on over to the library for information..

Today one does four years of Google and three years of Judge Judy..take the bar..presumably pass and you're all set.....

But if everyone gets to pass the BAR exam, NO ONE passes the BAR exam.It becomes a meaningless qualification, much like how half the colleges in America now don't look at your SAT score anymore.

From the stellar pictures how can you even tell what color the pen is? I vote for a green pen with gold trim just as expected.

For the 123--Knowledge is power. Freddy is trying to say it politely but don't rely on running to FPN to get answers, learn the basics and then dig in deeper on a few topics of interest.

No don't shut up, just slow down and look at some of the online reference pages.

Post a link to the sale. Green pens are often faded to look silver. Then again could be silver pearl.

Oh yeah, there is also this one:

Make sure it says "Vintage Parker Vacumatic Major Fountain Pen.Gray Celluloid 14K Medium Point"

I've had trouble in the past with redirecting Ebay links.
