I have these two, sent from China. I like the blue; Ill likely sell the pink.

Sorry if I've missed a previous discussion but couldn't find an answer via the search function. I've always understood TWSBIs to be made in Taiwan but I see that this post says these came from China. Can someone please clarify? Thanks.

Yes they are a Taiwanese company, however the pastel pink & blue Ecos were made as “exclusives” for the Chinese market, and were made in a factory owned by TWSBI in China. TWSBI themselves confirmed this in a post on Instagram & said they'd owned that factory for over 30 years.

The cap bands of the pastel Ecos have “China” etched on them.

China is a big market, but I think many pen fans all around the world will be happy to buy the pastel colours.

If Instagram is anything to go by, if these pastel colours are a limited edition when released world-wide, they’ll sell out before you can blink!
