Bookbinders Design Notebook Review

GranTorino25

Recommended Posts

After a long hiatus, I have been able to post my latest review of a custom Bookbinders Design notebook, a store in Australia!

The paper performs and feels very similarly to Clairefontaine Trimophe. It doesn't bleed or ghost, hardly feathers, shows some shading, and dries super quickly! There isn't much evidence of sheen, but there is a hint.

Thanks for your review GranTorino25. I havent been to the Bookbinders Design store for years as I struggled (back then) to find good FP friendly notebooks there. Looks like its time for a return visit. Of course I always need more notebooks.

... 15 minutes later... Since when did they start selling Pelikans and a big range of inks? How could I have missed this?

I've steered clear for a few years now due to poor past experiences paper wise. Will wander back in next time in town. Thanks.
